The Fifteenth Annual
Japan Studies Association Conference will be held
January 8-10, 2009 at Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, LA. It will
begin
with a light reception on Thursday evening, January 8th at 5:30 pm and
conclude with the conference banquet on Saturday night, January 10th,
at
6:00pm. |
The Japan Studies
Association is a multidisciplinary organization
dedicated to the development of better understanding of Japan and Japanese Culture, to providing mutual assistance for the development and expansion of members' undergraduate curricula and local outreach programs, and to establishing a central network and resource center. It works in close cooperation with other Asian-studies organizations such as the Asian Studies Development Program of the East-West Center of the University of Hawaii. Individual and panel proposals are invited. Printable proposal, registration and room accommodation forms are available at: www.japanstudies.org.
